# Reading list

> Future Face Aesthetics reading list — The Future Face Aesthetics reading list: collagen synthesis, tissue remodelling, topical skin findings, copper penetration and GHK gene data.

The studies and reviews behind the collagen, skin-results and delivery files.

## Start with the material question

For a direct experiment, begin with [collagen synthesis in cultured human fibroblasts](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3169264/). The [tissue-remodelling review](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18644225/) places construction and turnover in a wider repair argument.

For skin outcomes, read the [topical anti-wrinkle review](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11830136/) alongside the [skin-regeneration review](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4508379/); their discussion of the procollagen comparison overlaps. The [copper-penetration study](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3016279/) deals with skin samples and a measured analyte. The [gene-data review](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6073405/) is the broader, more speculative horizon of this reading list.

My starting point would be the narrow experiment, with the reviews coming afterward. That order lets the material question stay visible as the claims become more ambitious.

Future Face Aesthetics is my desk for arguments about published research into skin repair; it is a personal publication, not a business, and offers no medical advice.
